Rajasthan HC: Single Blunt Blow Causing Grievous Injury is Not Attempt to Murder Without Intent - (21 Jan 2026)

CRIMINAL

Rajasthan High Court ruled that a single blunt blow to the head causing grievous injury does not amount to attempt to murder unless repeated, forceful attacks show a clear intent to kill, as homicidal mens rea is an essential requirement for the offence.
