SC: Mandatory Injunction Suit Alone is Not Maintainable When Plaintiff’s Title is Disputed - (19 Jan 2026)

Supreme Court held that where serious disputes exist over title, possession, or identity of property, a suit for mandatory injunction simpliciter is not maintainable, and the plaintiff must seek comprehensive relief through a suit for declaration of title and recovery of possession.
