Kerala HC: Petrol Pump Licence is Automatically Cancelled on Lease Expiry Without Any Hearing - (15 Jan 2026)

Kerala High Court clarified that under the Petroleum Rules, 2002, a petrol pump licence is automatically cancelled when the lease for the storage site expires, and no formal order or hearing is required for the cancellation, as the licensee loses the right to the site.
