MP High Court: Guardians Can be Liable For Minors Flying Kites With Chinese Manjha - (15 Jan 2026)

CRIMINAL

While hearing a suo motu PIL on the illegal sale and use of Chinese manjha, the Madhya Pradesh High Court held that if a minor flies a kite using Chinese manjha, the guardian may be held liable under Section 106(1) of the BNS, 2023, for death caused by negligence.
