SC: Under Order XXI Rule 102 CPC, A Transferee Pendente Lite Cannot Obstruct Execution of a Decree - (14 Jan 2026)

Supreme Court reiterated that a purchaser who buys property during pending litigation, as a transferee pendente lite, cannot obstruct execution of the decree and remains bound by the final outcome, with such transfer being entirely subject and subordinate to the decree passed in the proceedings.
