Delhi High Court: Home State Must be the First Preference For Claiming Insider IFS Cadre Allocation - (14 Jan 2026)

Delhi High Court held that under the All India Services Cadre Allocation Policy, an officer must list their home State as the first preference to claim insider IFS cadre allocation, and merely expressing willingness or listing it lower does not confer any enforceable right.
