Delhi HC: Abortion by a Married Woman For Marital Discord is Legal under The MTP Act - (07 Jan 2026)

Reaffirming women’s reproductive autonomy, the Delhi High Court held that marital discord affecting a woman’s mental health constitutes a valid ground for abortion under the Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act.
