Supreme Court Upholds Cancellation of Bail For Man Accused of Assault Causing Miscarriage - (31 Dec 2025)

CRIMINAL

SC upheld the Bombay HC cancellation of bail for a man accused of assaulting a nightclub employee in a lift, leading to her miscarriage. Noting the initial bail was granted on technical grounds, the Court directed him to surrender within a week and seek bail on merits before the trial court.
