Delhi HC Suspends Kuldeep Singh Sengar’s Life Term, Holding Section 5(C) of POCSO Not Made Out - (26 Dec 2025)

CRIMINAL

Delhi High Court suspended the life sentence of Kuldeep Singh Sengar in the Unnao rape case, holding at a prima facie stage that Section 5(c) of the POCSO Act was not attracted and the offence did not qualify as aggravated penetrative sexual assault.
