SC: Bail Can't be Cancelled For Police Non-Appearance Once Chargesheet is Filed and Trial is Attended - (10 Dec 2025)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court held that bail cannot be revoked merely because an accused failed to report to the police at intervals, especially after the investigation is complete and the trial has begun, as such non-appearance alone is insufficient to justify cancellation.
