Delhi HC: Woman's Right to a Shared Household Does Not Allow Indefinite Occupation of In-Laws' Home - (09 Dec 2025)

Delhi High Court held that a woman’s right to a shared household under Section 17 of the Domestic Violence Act is protective, not ownership, and does not permit indefinite occupation of in-laws’ premises, particularly if it causes demonstrable harm to senior citizens.
