Supreme Court: Hostile Witness Testimony Can't Be Discarded; Consistent Parts Remain Valid - (09 Dec 2025)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court held that a witness’s testimony cannot be rejected merely because the witness is declared hostile. The Court clarified that any part of the testimony that aligns with the prosecution’s or defence’s case may still be accepted and relied upon.
