Supreme Court: Imminent Death Not Required For a Statement to Qualify as Dying Declaration - (05 Dec 2025)

LAW OF EVIDENCE

Supreme Court restored the summons to the deceased’s in-laws in a shooting case, ruling that a dying declaration does not become irrelevant merely because the statement was recorded before death was imminent.
