Delhi HC: FEMA Summons Follow CPC, Not CrPC; ED May Call Women to Office For Statement Recording - (02 Dec 2025)

Delhi HC ruled that summons issued u/s 37 of FEMA are governed by the CPC, not the Criminal CrPC. The court noted that these powers mirror those u/s 131 of Income Tax Act, clarifying that FEMA summons form part of a civil-administrative process distinct from criminal investigations under the PMLA.
