NCLT Mumbai: Pending Cheque-Bounce Case Does not Prevent Admission of Insolvency Petition - (02 Dec 2025)

INSOLVENCY

NCLT Mumbai ruled that a pending cheque-bounce case under the Negotiable Instruments Act does not bar insolvency proceedings. It admitted Rexel India Pvt Ltd’s application to initiate the corporate insolvency resolution process against Proto D Industries Pvt Ltd.
