Guj HC: Edible Crude Palm Kernel Oil Qualifies for Duty Exemption; End-Use Condition not Applicable - (24 Nov 2025)

Gujarat High Court quashed a Rs. 464 crore duty demand on edible crude palm kernel oil, ruling that the imported oil qualifies for customs duty exemption even if it requires refining, and the 'end-use condition' in the Exemption Notification does not apply.
