Delhi HC: ED Can Search Anyone Holding Crime Proceeds, not Just Those Named in Complaint - (21 Nov 2025)

CRIMINAL

Delhi High Court held that Section 17 of the PMLA does not limit the ED to searching only premises of persons named in the prosecution complaint, and that searches may also be conducted at locations of individuals who possess proceeds of crime even if they are not accused.
