Bom HC: Arbitrator Who Halts Proceedings over Unpaid Revised Fees Effectively Withdraws From Office - (18 Nov 2025)

ARBITRATION

Bombay High Court held that an arbitrator who indefinitely suspended proceedings over non-payment of revised fees and failed to conduct hearings is deemed to have withdrawn under Section 15, with their mandate also expiring under Section 29A, requiring a substitute arbitrator.
