Supreme Court: Company Buying Software for Efficiency and Profit Is Not a ‘Consumer’ under CPA - (14 Nov 2025)

CONSUMER

Supreme Court ruled that a person buying a product for commercial purposes linked to profit generation cannot be a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act. The court upheld the dismissal of a software company’s complaint over a defective license used for business automation.
