Calcutta HC Disqualifies Politician Mukul Roy from Assembly under Anti-Defection Law - (13 Nov 2025)

CONSTITUTION

Calcutta High Court disqualified senior leader Mukul Roy from the West Bengal Assembly, ruling that his move from the BJP to the Trinamool Congress after winning the 2021 Krishnanagar North seat violated the anti-defection law under the Constitution.
