Supreme Court: Long-Standing Religious Rituals Must Not be Changed for Administrative Convenience - (03 Nov 2025)

Supreme Court observed that long-standing religious rituals should not be disrupted due to public inconvenience. The remark arose during a dispute over the Udayasthamana Pooja at Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple, Kerala, traditionally performed on Vrishchikam Ekadasi for many years.
