Delhi HC: DV Act Rights of Daughter-in-Law Cannot Deny In-Laws’ Right to Reside in Home - (31 Oct 2025)

Del HC observed that while daughter-in-law’s residence rights are protected under the Domestic Violence Act the in-laws’ right to live in their home without distress cannot be indefinitely suspended. The Court emphasized balancing safety and serenity for senior citizens in multi-generational homes.
