Madras HC: Grandparents Can Execute Adoption Deed for Unmarried Daughter if She Consents - (30 Oct 2025)

Madras High Court held that in the adoption of an unmarried woman’s child, an adoption deed executed by the grandparents is valid, provided it is established that the mother consented to the adoption, affirming that her concurrence legitimizes the grandparents’ act.
