Delhi HC: Caste Abuse on Flyover Counts as 'Public View' Under SC/ST Act Even Without Witnesses - (29 Oct 2025)

Delhi High Court held that assaulting a woman and hurling caste-based abuse on a flyover qualifies as “public view,” fulfilling the requirements for an offence under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, even in the absence of witnesses.
