Delhi High Court: Renting or Leasing Residential Property for Residential Use Exempt from GST - (29 Oct 2025)

GOODS AND SERVICES TAX

Delhi High Court held that GST is not applicable on renting or leasing residential premises for residential use. The court clarified this while addressing a plea challenging a Collector of Stamps’ order demanding alleged deficient stamp duty on a lease deed in Vasant Vihar.
