Delhi HC: Cheques Issued Solely as Security Cannot be Encashed for Any Existing Debt - (28 Oct 2025)

Delhi High Court observed that cheques issued solely for security purposes, and not intended for bank deposit, cannot be encashed to settle any existing debt or liability, clarifying that such cheques do not create an enforceable financial obligation.
