Kerala HC: “Debt Due” under Section 18(1) SARFAESI Act Includes Future Interest until Appeal Filing - (27 Oct 2025)

Kerala HC held that under Section 18(1) of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 (SARFAESI Act), “debt due” includes both the amount in the Section 13(2) demand notice and any interest accrued up to the date of filing the appeal.
