Delhi HC: PMLA Attachment Confirmation Doesn’t Authorize Property Retention without Valid Order - (29 Sep 2025)

Delhi High Court observed that under Section 8(3) of the PMLA, confirmation of attachment of property involved in money laundering does not authorize its retention. Retention requires a valid order under Section 20, emphasizing that attachment confirmation alone is insufficient to hold the property.
