Delhi HC: Separate Pleas by Husband & Wife Cannot be Converted into Mutual Consent Divorce Petition - (26 Sep 2025)

Delhi High Court ruled that separate divorce petitions filed by a husband and wife cannot be converted into a single petition for mutual consent divorce under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act. Each party must file a joint petition to seek divorce by mutual consent.
