Supreme Court: Criminal Law Not a Tool for Civil Disputes or Personal Vengeance - (25 Sep 2025)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court quashed a criminal case where an FIR was filed in a purely civil dispute that was wrongly given a criminal angle. The Court criticized the increasing misuse of criminal prosecution as a means of harassment in commercial matters.
