SC Directs Status Quo in Plea Against HP HC Ruling on Government’s Power to Regularise Encroachments - (22 Sep 2025)

Supreme Court ordered status quo in a petition challenging the Himachal Pradesh High Court’s decision that declared Section 163-A of the Himachal Pradesh Land Revenue Act, 1952, unconstitutional. The order was passed on Friday while hearing the petition against the High Court’s ruling.
