Kerala HC: Prior Sanction U/S 17A Not Needed to Prosecute Public Servants for Benami Dealings - (19 Sep 2025)

Kerala High Court has held that buying shares or public property as “benami” by a public servant does not fall under Section 17A of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
