Delhi High Court: Calling a Woman 'R***I' Insults Her Modesty and Questions Her Sexual Dignity - (19 Sep 2025)

Delhi High Court has held that calling a woman “r***i” attacks her character and sexual dignity, amounting to outraging her modesty. Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma stated that the term carries sexual innuendo and is not casual abuse but a serious insult that degrades a woman's status.
