Delhi HC: Women’s Entry into Army Corps Can’t be Restricted; Vacant Male Posts Must be Open to Women - (18 Sep 2025)

DEFENCE

Delhi High Court ruled that women's induction into notified Army corps under Section 12 of the Army Act cannot be numerically restricted. The Court held that such restrictions violate gender neutrality and equality under Articles 14, 15, and 16 of the Constitution.
