SC: Non-Production of Contraband Not Fatal If Seizure and Sample-Drawing Follow S.52A of NDPS Act - (16 Sep 2025)

NARCOTICS

Supreme Court ruled that under the NDPS Act, the prosecution is not defeated if the seized contraband is not produced in court, provided the seizure and sample-drawing are properly recorded and maintained as per Section 52A of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
