Supreme Court Takes Suo Motu Cognizance of Industrial Pollution in Rajasthan's Jojari River - (16 Sep 2025)

ENVIRONMENT

Supreme Court took suo motu cognizance of pollution in Rajasthan's Jojari River caused by industrial waste harming villages and making drinking water not potable. A bench of Justices Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta ordered the matter be placed before the Chief Justice for appropriate action.
