SC Accepts SIT Report: Vantara Acquired Animals in Line With Regulations - (15 Sep 2025)

ENVIRONMENT

Supreme Court has noted that Vantara’s animal acquisitions comply with regulations. The SIT found no foul play in acquiring animals, including elephants, from India and abroad. The court accepted the SIT report, confirming Reliance Foundation’s Jamnagar facility followed all legal procedures.
