Delhi HC: No Certification for Films That Mock Religions or Incite Hate in a Secular Society - (12 Sep 2025)

MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION

Delhi HC held that films mocking religions or inciting hatred can't be certified in a secular society. Justice Manmeet Singh Arora noted that glorifying vigilantism undermines trust in the legal system and promotes violence over lawful conduct, risking social harmony and public order.
