NCLT: Successful Bidder of Corporate Debtor Not Exempt from Statutory Compliances - (03 Sep 2025)

INSOLVENCY

NCLT has ruled that a successful bidder of a corporate debtor cannot seek exemptions from statutory compliances merely on the ground of having won the bid, emphasizing that being a successful bidder does not absolve one from fulfilling mandatory legal obligations.
