SC: A. 32 of COI Empowers SC in Cases Related to Capital Punishment to Reopen Sentencing Stage - (25 Aug 2025)

Supreme Court has held that Article 32 of the Constitution empowers this Court in cases related to capital punishment to reopen the sentencing stage where the accused has been condemned to death penalty without ensuring that mandated guidelines were followed.
