Chhattisgarh HC takes Suo-Motu Cognizance of Unregulated Knife Sales - (19 Aug 2025)

Chhattisgarh High Court while taking suo motu cognisance of rising stabbings in Bilaspur has linked the surge to unchecked knife sales in local shops and directed the Home Department's Principal Secretary to file a personal affidavit on measures taken.
