Madras HC: Insolvency Resolution Professional is Public Servant, Sanction Needed to Prosecute Him - (19 Aug 2025)

CRIMINAL

Madras High Court has held that a Resolution Professional qualifies as a public servant under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and directed IBBI to consider sanctioning prosecution over alleged fund mismanagement linked to court proceedings.
