SC Orders Husband to Pay Rs. 1.25 Cr Permanent Alimony - (19 Aug 2025)

Supreme Court has dissolved a marriage due to irretrievable breakdown under Article 142 of the Constitution of India and directed the husband to pay ?1.25 crore permanent alimony in five quarterly instalments to wife and child.
