Supreme Court: Non-Signatories Have No Right to Attend Arbitration Proceedings - (14 Aug 2025)

ARBITRATION

SC has held that non-signatories to an arbitration agreement cannot attend proceedings, as it violates confidentiality under Section 42A of Arbitration and Conciliation Act. While setting aside a Delhi HC ruling, the Court emphasized that arbitration is limited strictly between signatory parties.
