Madras HC: Suicide Note is Not Sufficient for Conviction - (13 Jul 2016)

Madras HC, while setting aside 10 years rigorous imprisonment imposed on youth following suicide of a girl, has held that courts should not solely rely upon suicide notes to jump to the conclusion that people named in the notes must be guilty of the offence of abetment of suicide.
