SC Dismisses CBI’s Review Petition against 2023 Judgment - (08 Aug 2025)

CRIMINAL

SC has dismissed review petition filed by Central Bureau of Investigation against the 2023 judgment in Ritu Chhabaria v. Union of India And Ors (MANU/SC/0459/2023; 2023 INSC 436) in which it was held that filing of an incomplete chargesheet will not defeat right of the accused to seek default bail.
