Del HC: Wife's Right to Reside in Shared Household Doesn’t Violate Husband’s Right to Seek Partition - (07 Aug 2025)

Delhi High Court has held that a married woman's right to reside in a shared household under Section 17 of the Domestic Violence Act, 2005 does not override her husband's legal right to seek partition or assert ownership through civil proceedings.
