SC: Can Infer Creation of Trust from Circumstances when No Formal Recognition Given to Society - (06 Aug 2025)

TRUSTS AND SOCIETIES

SC has observed that when no formal recognition has been given to the society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, the creation of a trust can be inferred from the relevant circumstances surrounding the coming into existence of and functioning of the institution/entity in question.
