Calcutta HC: Compromise Scheme Under Companies Act Overrides SARFAESI - (01 Aug 2025)

Calcutta High Court ruled that once a scheme of compromise or arrangement is sanctioned by a company court, it cannot be frustrated by invoking the SARFAESI Act. The judgment reinforces the binding nature of judicially approved corporate restructurings.
