Kerala HC: Publication of News Item regarding Dismissal of Employee is Not Formal Service of Order - (30 Jul 2025)

SERVICE

Kerala High Court has held that publication of a worker’s dismissal as a news item in a newspaper cannot be considered as a formal service of the dismissal order. Such publication does not invoke limitation under section 2A(3) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947.
